Djokovic returns to training and maintains leg protection

After canceling his training session on Sunday , Novak Djokovic has resumed his on-court preparations for his debut at the Australian Open. Nine-time Melbourne champion, the Serbian has been dealing with a hamstring problem in his left leg since his title campaign in Adelaide eight days ago. The debut in Melbourne is scheduled for Tuesday, around 6:30 am (Brasília time) against Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena.

Using a leg protection, the current number 5 in the world went to the court around 20:00 in Melbourne (06:00 in Brasilia). According to Serbian journalist Sasa Ozmo, who regularly accompanies Djokovic during the season on the circuit, there was a delay of approximately one hour in relation to the initially scheduled time for training.
