More than 200,000 fans have signed a petition demanding a replay of the World Cup last in between France and Argentina.
The petition was published on the Mes Opinions site. French fans believe that refereeing in the definitive match of the competition was “corrupt”. The primary arbiter of the conference was the Pole Szymon Marciniak.
In the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Argentines beat the French in a penalty shootout. Throughout the match, Didier Deschamps’ team recovered 0-2 thanks to a brace from forward Kylian Mbappé. In a series of post-match strikes, the French group was defeated with a rating of 2:4.
