Novak Djokovic has already established himself as one of the greatest players in tennis history.
With the conquest of his 10th title at the Australian Open, the Serbian equals the record for Grand Slam titles in men’s singles, 22, alongside his great rival Rafael Nadal .
Djokovic won the 2023 edition of the Australian Open by beating Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final on Sunday (January 29) in Melbourne.
His seventh Wimbledon title in 2022 saw him equal Roger Federer , who finished his career with 20 Slams.
As well as his impressive performance in Slams, Djokovic won 38 Masters 1000 titles. The big title he is still missing is Olympic gold.
In total, the 35-year-old has won 92 ATP titles and is the only man since Rod Laver in 1969 to hold all four Slam singles titles at the same time.
He is also the only “Career Golden Masters” holder, with titles in the nine Masters 1000 that were played during his career.
