Russia’s Putin announces ‘military operation’ in Ukraine

MOSCOW, Russia — Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Thursday a protection drive operation in Ukraine to protect separatists within the east of the country, and “demilitarise and de-nazify” its educated-Western neighbour.
