Source of Strength Ms. Marvel Revealed in New Trailer!

After the movie Doctor Strange 2 and serial Moon Knight aired successfully, now it’s time for the Ms. Marvel to come and shine on Disney+. The series, which involves many Muslim filmmakers, will tell the story of a new superhero named Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani). Just like in the comics, Kamala is a Pakistani descent who really idolizes Captain Marvel. Until finally an incident turned him into a superhuman.

In Marvel Comics itself, Ms. Marvel alias Kamala Khan is a human who becomes an inhuman after being exposed to the Terrigen Mist. His own super strength is being able to change the molecular structure of his body, so he can expand and elongate. However, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his powers have been slightly adjusted. Instead of being an inhuman, Kamala is still an ordinary human who gets superpowers from a cosmic object. As seen in the latest teaser trailer for the series.

The new trailer for Ms. Marvel started with the cleric who told Kamala “Kindness is not about who you are, but about what you do.Armed with these words, Kamala who finally got super powers from ‘a pair of cosmic bracelets’, finally decided to become a superhero named Ms. Marvel. In the various footage it is clear how great the crystal energy of Ms. Marvel.

In addition to being able to create an energy shield capable of toppling trucks, Ms. Marvel also looks capable of walking on air. And more importantly, it turns out that there is a snippet that shows his energy crystal becoming a giant hand. With this new trailer, it’s like Marvel wants to prove to fans, that despite being different, it’s basically a function of Ms. Marvel is still the same.

Previously original comic writer Ms. Marvel, G. Willow Wilson, had also supported the decision to adjust Kamala’s power. He said that the adjustment was useful for Kamala who would go on further adventures in the MCU.
