“Taylor’s team is doing everything so that our revenge does not take place” – Sharipova

Former IBA Lightweight World Champion Firuza Sharipova told MMA.Metaratings.ru that Ireland’s Katie Taylor is avoiding a rematch with her.

– My main goal is to become the absolute world champion in professional boxing. Need a rematch with Katie Taylor. We do our best to box her, but she avoids it. The next time I go out with her, I’ll take all the belts. Her team is doing everything to prevent this fight from taking place,” Sharipova said.

On December 11, 2021, Sharipova lost to Taylor by unanimous decision in the fight for the world title.
